If a factory visit is needed before a quote can be given, the desk will tell you the date of the trip and when the field note will follow.
Yes. Send the specification, drawings or a reference sample and the desk will work from it directly, confirming part numbers and revisions with the factory before any order is placed. If you have no written specification, the desk can build one from a sample and a short description so the quote and the inspection checklist start from the same document.
The same desk officer who coordinates the order prepares and cross checks the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading instructions and certificate of origin. The packet is verified line by line before release, and a stamped copy is stored in the roller cabinet so you can request the record at any time.
